is amazing how spare change can make a huge difference at Matthew 25.
Before Judy Cavins even began working at the clinic, she kept a jar on
her desk and donated the change collected to the AIDS Awareness Walk.
The project has grown over the last few years; the first year she gave
eleven dollars to Matthew 25…last year she collected enough to be a Platinum Sponsor for the annual walk. In honor of Judy’s designation as Employee of the Year in 2006, Matthew 25 is helping Judy in her endeavor to gather even more change for this year’s AIDS Awareness Walk. Judy’s favorite shape is a star, so star banks are available for anyone interested in giving their change to the clinic. Judy hopes everyone will empty their pockets into the banks or collect change from family members or friends. You can also bring coins by the clinic and they will be put in Judy’s Jar. Judy’s Jar also accepts paper money and checks. In her twelve years of involvement at Mathew 25, Judy has seen more clients being treated on less money. She realizes the need to be creative in finding new ways to finance programs at Matthew 25. Help Judy realize her dream of donating even more money to this year’s walk…drop your spare change off at Matthew 25 or call for a special bank.
